THE Rovers Return’s new landlady, Stella Price, strutted behind her bar for the first time yesterday flanked by her family and promising trouble.
Stella, played by Michelle Collins, 50, arrived with boyfriend Karl (John Michie) and daughter Eva (Catherine Tyldesley), and admitted “I love a good triangle” when asked about future stories.
And Michelle, who played super-bitch Cindy Beale in EastEnders, quickly showed she’s just as nasty in her new role. “You won’t find any leopardskin on Stella,” she said in a dig at predecessor Liz McDonald’s signature style.

But maybe she’s softened a little. Kicking off her black high heels, she admitted: “On the cobbles heels are a nightmare. You end up getting slippers to walk in.”
GRINNING from ear to ear, Emma Watson looked like a star struck fan, grabbing pictures with all her A-list heroes.

Refreshing, when you consider she’s one of Hollywood’s most successful young actors.
The Harry Potter star, 21, charmed fans at the MTV Movie awards in Los Angeles, as she mingled with Cameron Diaz, Emma Stone, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Spider-Man star, Andrew Garfield.
And she showed off a newly trim, gym-honed figure in a jewel-encrusted Marchesa gown and then a lime green number by the same designer.
